Our Story
Dr. Bhojne Public School
In 2016, in the small village of Mardi, Solapur, a quiet dream took shape inside a single home. With just 32 students and a powerful belief in the importance of quality English-medium education, Dr. Bhojne Public School began its journey What started as a humble initiative was never just about classrooms — it was about possibility. It was about giving rural children the same opportunities as those in cities. Year after year, trust grew. Parents believed. Students flourished. The dream expanded.
After the challenging lockdown period, 2023 became a milestone year. Nearly 375 students enrolled, reflecting the deep faith families had in the school. But growth brought a new challenge — space. With limited infrastructure, the school temporarily shifted to a 19-room building owned by Yamai Devi Trust. The building had been closed for 10–12 years and was in poor condition. What followed was not just renovation — it was revival. With tremendous effort and strong community support, the structure was restored and transformed into a fully functional school campus. Two successful academic years were completed there. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the school had to vacate the premises and return to its earlier limited space.
It was a difficult moment. Because of infrastructure constraints, the school could not continue classes from Grade 5 to Grade 8, despite strong demand from parents. This was never a lack of vision — only a lack of space. Even so, more than 150 students continue to receive quality education today.Despite being in a rural area, the academic standards remain exceptionally high.
English is the medium of instruction, alongside Hindi and Marathi. Students are also introduced to Japanese, opening doors to global exposure. For the past 10 years, children from 11 surrounding villages have traveled 15 to 30 kilometers daily to attend the school — a powerful reflection of commitment and trust.
Dr. Bhojne Public School is entirely self-financed, operating only on student fees. With an annual fee of just ₹5,000 to ₹6,000, it serves economically weaker rural families. Yet, despite minimal fees, the school maintains high academic standards, holistic development, cultural and moral education, discipline, and leadership building.
The vision remains strong. With God’s grace and the support of well-wishers, the school aspires to build its own permanent campus, restart higher grades from 5th to 8th and beyond, provide stable infrastructure, and expand opportunities for thousands of rural children.
Dr. Bhojne Public School is not merely an institution. It is a rural education mission — a movement to transform lives, empower underprivileged children, and bridge the gap between rural dreams and global opportunities.
And the story is still being writte
